How we do it
We don't do risky big-bang rewrites. We use a strangler-fig migration: stand up modern cloud services alongside your existing data, move functionality over in slices, and run the old and new side by side until the Access file can be retired.
The data moves from flat, loosely-related Access tables into a normalized, constraint-backed SQL database. The interface is rebuilt as a secure web application your team reaches from anywhere — with real multi-user access, role-based security, and an audit trail. Reporting and documents are regenerated server-side, and manual imports give way to live integrations.
The result runs on a modern cloud stack — typically ASP.NET Core with a single-page web UI on Azure (Azure SQL, app/container hosting, cloud storage, and Entra ID security) — built to scale and to last.
